Terms of Service

Welcome to PPTScript (“the Service”). The Service is provided by PPTScript (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please stop using the Service immediately.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

These Terms constitute the complete agreement between you and us.

2. Service Overview

PPTScript is an AI-powered tool for PPT content analysis and speech script generation.

The Service includes, but is not limited to:

- Uploading PPT files

- Automatically generating structured presentation scripts

- User-initiated PPT thumbnail generation

- Editing and downloading related content

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content. We are not responsible for any professional, commercial, or legal consequences arising from the use of AI-generated results.

3. Account Registration and Security

Some features require user registration.

- You must ensure all provided account information is accurate.

- You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of your account credentials.

- You are liable for all actions taken under your account.

- If you suspect unauthorized access, you must notify us immediately.

4. License and Restrictions

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, limited license to use the Service.

You may not:

- Use the Service for unlawful, infringing, or improper purposes

- Perform scraping, bulk extraction, reverse engineering, or decompiling

- Upload viruses, malware, or infringing files

- Circumvent payment restrictions or abuse system resources

- Use the Service to train other AI models or create competing services

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these restrictions.

5. Payments, Subscriptions, and Credits

The Service offers the following plans:

- Free Tier: Limited uploads and restricted features

- Credit Pack: One-time purchase, USD 6.66 for 15 uploads

- Monthly Subscription: USD 9.99/month, 40 uploads every 30 days (quota resets each billing cycle)

Permissions such as file size limits, page limits, model quality, and task priority may vary by plan. Actual entitlements are based on the pricing page.

6. Auto-Renewal and Cancellation

Monthly subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle.

- You may cancel at any time via the account settings or payment platform.

- It is recommended to cancel at least 24 hours before the next billing cycle to avoid unintended charges.

Upon cancellation, you may continue using your plan until the end of the current billing cycle.

7. Refund Policy

Except where required by applicable law:

- Subscription fees are non-refundable

- Credit packs are non-refundable once fully or partially used

- Refunds will not be issued for user errors or dissatisfaction with AI output

- For technical issues during payment, please contact support

The refund policy is designed to prevent abuse and ensure service stability.

8. User Content & Intellectual Property

8.1 Uploaded Content

- All files you upload remain your property.

- You authorize us to process these files as necessary to provide the Service (temporary storage, AI analysis, content generation, etc.).

8.2 AI-Generated Content

- All AI-generated content produced via the Service belongs to you.

- However, AI output may be repetitive, unpredictable, or similar to third-party content.

8.3 Platform Intellectual Property

All algorithms, UI/UX, functional design, written content, and related technology of PPTScript belong to us.

You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, or exploit any part of the Service without authorization.

9. Data Processing and Storage

We temporarily process and store your uploaded files only for the duration needed to provide the Service.

- Files are deleted automatically after you leave the page

- Files are not stored long-term

- You are responsible for backing up your content

10. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

- Upload illegal, infringing, pornographic, violent, hateful, or fraudulent content

- Use AI to generate unlawful content

- Abuse or attack the system via automation

- Circumvent payment requirements or share paid account access

- Threaten or disrupt service operations

We reserve the right to restrict, suspend, or delete accounts that violate these rules.

11. Service Changes and Interruptions

The Service may be modified, suspended, or terminated due to:

- System maintenance or upgrades

- Model updates or optimization

- Pricing adjustments

- Security risks

- Business decisions

We will notify users when reasonably possible, but prior notice is not guaranteed.

We are not liable for disruptions caused by force majeure events such as natural disasters, war, network outages, or government actions.

12. Relationship with Third-Party AI Providers & Disclaimers

12.1 Use of Third-Party AI Technology

Some features rely on external AI model providers (including but not limited to OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, AWS, Microsoft Azure, DeepSeek, etc.).

We do not control these providers’ algorithms, data, outputs, or system stability.

12.2 No Partnership or Endorsement

Third-party AI providers are not partners, co-operators, or endorsers of this Service.

Using PPTScript does not create any contractual relationship between the user and such providers.

12.3 Model Unpredictability

We are not liable for:

- Inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading AI content

- Similarities between AI output and third-party content

- Provider outages, throttling, delays, or anomalies

- Changes in API behavior, pricing, or availability

12.4 User Compliance with Third-Party Policies

Use of AI features may be subject to the policies of relevant model providers.

12.5 Risks Outside Our Control

We are not responsible for losses caused by:

- Errors in third-party AI content

- Service interruptions or delayed output

- Pricing adjustments by AI suppliers

- Feature discontinuation due to provider policy changes

We will however make reasonable efforts to maintain stability.

13. Disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

- The Service is provided “as is” without warranties

- We do not guarantee accuracy or suitability of AI-generated content

- We are not responsible for losses arising from reliance on generated content

- The Service does not constitute legal, medical, investment, or tax advice

14. Limitation of Liability

To the extent allowed by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

We are not liable for:

- Indirect or consequential damages

- Data loss

- Loss of profits or opportunities

- Service downtime or inability to use the Service

15. Termination

We may restrict or terminate your account for:

- Violations of the Terms or applicable laws

- Abuse or system attacks

- Payment issues

- Actions that impact platform operations

You may stop using the Service at any time.

16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.

Any disputes arising out of or related to the Terms will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Singapore.
